But thanks to a new $45-million dollar whitewater rafting and kayaking facility -Riversport Rapids in Oklahoma City – it’s now a reality for Oklahomans. The facility opened May 7, 2016, and is only one of three man-made whitewater facilities in the nation. The rapids can be adjusted for beginners to advanced rafters and everyone in-between. Trained raft guides will be there to guide you along the whole way. With a myriad of activities to enjoy at the Boathouse District – home of Riversport Rapids – there is something for everyone. From kayaking to rafting to cycling, this state-of-the-art facility will get you enjoying the great outdoors.
