Thanksgiving is almost here, and our neighbors to the west have just seen their first snowfall. You know what that means: winter is not far off for Pennsylvanians, either. Personally, I would be content if it skipped us altogether, although admittedly there are some great things to look forward to in winter. Here are just some of them.
- The snow will come and cover the trees’ branches and all our streets in a magical frost.

- Winter cuts us a break. Occasionally, snow or cold shuts down schools and businesses and gives us a chance to breathe easy for a day or two.
