Did you know that Southern California is home to a stunning sea cave in San Diego that can actually be accessed by land? It’s a pretty magnificent sight to see, so get ready to be wowed by this incredible wonder. The best part? This sea cave is easy to explore and doesn’t require any special skills or bravery; all it takes is some curiosity and an adventurous spirit and you’ll be on your way to a spectacular trek that just may be the coolest thing you’ll ever see or do in this neck of the woods…errr, I mean sea. Want to check it out? Let’s go on a little tour.
For starters, you’ll head to La Jolla. Yes, that La Jolla, the one everyone daydreams about.

Once you get there you’ll go to a charming local shop called The Cave Store. This is where your adventure will begin.

But first, before we head inside, this is the kind of view you will enjoy right outside the cave store once you arrive. Go ahead and linger a while – you deserve it.

Still lingering? This is yet another view that you can enjoy and it won’t cost you a single dollar.

On your way into the store, you’ll see this sign. Only five dollars? What a bargain for an adventure of a lifetime!

Once inside you’ll head down some stairs right after you read the warning sign.

Take note of the “safe” part. They’re not kidding – it really is safe. Phew!

Okay, ready for the real magic?

The trek starts with taking a few stairs – 145 to be exact.

But you already knew there were 145 stairs because you read the sign, right? Please tell me you actually read the sign?

At first glance, this may look like the set for an Indiana Jones flick, but I assure you this is the real thing.

As you make your way through the cave, you might have to duck a little as the cave ceiling is quite low.

As you come around the bend you’ll start to see a crack of light illuminating the cave.

And before you know it, you’re standing right here looking out to the ocean with this remarkable view in front of you. Take a moment to enjoy the setting and let it all sink in. Mind blowing!
