You might have seen waterfalls–even up close and personal. But it truly doesn’t get more amazing than walking BEHIND a waterfall. It is a truly one-of-a-kind experience. You can do that at Amnicon Falls State Park. As far as state parks go, this is the best bang for your buck. There are fresh trees, great smelling air–and loads of waterfalls. And at one of the falls, you can swim in it. If you so choose, you can walk behind it–and that will give you one of the coolest views of a waterfall you’ll ever see.

As far as waterfalls go, this park has its fair share of delightful waterfalls.

But see this large rush of water? You can actually WALK BEHIND IT.

There is actually a swimming area that you can walk into, allowing you both to splash around in the water and to walk both behind and into the stream of water.
