You’ll know you’ve made it once you drive down Cave Road and notice 15 acres of vineyards sprawled across one breathtaking property.

Little is known about the history of the cave, but it’s believed to have been a place where Saltpeter was mined to create gun powder.

Cave Vineyard is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but summer hours start in April, adding an extra hour until closing. Tastings cost $5 each which lets visitors try up to 6 of the wines available. For information on discounted group tastings, click here.
