But what makes this resort really stand out are all the adventure opportunities that happen outside. If whitewater rafting is your thing, there are two different rivers to choose from. The New River is more leisurely while the Gauley is more intense.

If you don’t like whitewater, no worries, there’s still plenty more adventure to be had. The resort has zip line tours, rappelling and an opportunity to walk across the catwalk of the New River Gorge Bridge with Bridge Walk among other things.
