With more and more Halloween decorations popping up in our favorite stores and the clearance racks filling up with summer attire, we’ve begun to say goodbye to the warm weather. Accepting our frosty fate, we’ve anxiously been waiting to hear what the Old Farmer’s Almanac has to say about our upcoming winter:

Included in the Atlantic Corridor region, we’re due to have an overall much colder winter than last year.

Precipitation is predicted to be just above normal in the North, with below normal levels in the South. So while you’re outside shoveling this year, be sure to be mindful of ice!

Unlike most regions in the upper right corner of the United States, we won’t be experiencing as many snowy periods.

Two months of cold, snowy pain. Will you be able to survive the chill that this winter is going to bring?
If you’re part of the percentage of residents who enjoy being outside in these brisk conditions, you’ll be glad to hear that we’re going to have a lot of cold weather.
